How We Help

Understand the Sustainability of Academic Programs

Counter budget deficits, identify efficiencies and optimize faculty assignments and non-teaching activities

Analytics is a journey and questions serve as a guide to help you explore and understand your institutional data. HelioCampus provides strategic decision support and insights to help derive value from your data to achieve a multitude of goals.

Which colleges and departments have increasing student credit hours?

Are departmental expenses aligned with demand and revenue?

Which courses are being taught at positive or negative contribution margins?

Drive course scheduling efficiencies and forecast demand

Which departments and courses are going to drive enrollments in future terms?

Are the number of course sections offered and fill rates commensurate with course demand?

Understand potential levers to impact the department’s budget

In the past, we could only do very basic retention modeling that identified only the highest level of risk factors. But HelioCampus allows us to be much more nuanced. Now we can identify specific students who are most at-risk and which dollar amounts would be most likely to affect them and help them stay here. We can also look at our own modeling around financial aid and identify the best way to utilize those dollars holistically to maximize enrollment at the institution.
