From Outcomes to Opportunity — Scaling Digital Credentials That Matter

University of Georgia Launches Comprehensive Learner Record to Advance Student Career Readiness

Watch Webinar

The University of Georgia (UGA) is the first institution to implement a Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR) at scale, helping students showcase verified skills, competencies, and experiences to employers and graduate programs. Launched in Fall 2025, UGA’s Comprehensive Learner Record connects coursework, co-curricular involvement, leadership experiences, and institutionally-defined competencies into one verified digital learning record.

By adopting Learning Journey, HelioCampus’s CLR platform, UGA is transforming how students communicate career-ready skills and demonstrate the full value of their higher education experience.

Watch the webinar to hear from Vice President and Senior Vice Provost Marisa Anne Pagnattaro and HelioCampus CEO Darren Catalano as they discuss:

  • Why UGA invested in digital credentialing

  • How the university operationalized credentialing across the institution

  • What's next for connecting learning outcomes to workforce readiness

Giving Students a Competitive Edge Through Verified Skills and Digital Credentials

UGA’s CLR empowers students to track and communicate the skills they are building throughout their academic journey, including critical thinking, communication, leadership, creativity, and collaboration. Unlike traditional college transcripts alone, the CLR provides a more complete picture of student achievement and workforce readiness.

As students complete courses and activities, their CLR evolves alongside them, helping them identify strengths, document growth, and showcase validated achievements in ways traditional academic transcripts cannot.
